A joke will be on the Mets this April Fool’s Day, as the Cardinals open before the world, hoping to start the way last year’s playoffs ended.

After a successful spring training, 11-6-3, Cardinals appear to have just as much potential as last year’s team.

Jason Wolfard, head coach, wasn’t even born yet in 1970. 37 years later he found himself leading his team to State.

His team wasn’t even ranked all season. Finally, after they became co-champions in the Conference with Lafayette, they were on the bubble.

When senior wrestlers graduate, they want to be remembered as a team that accomplished their goals. After having only two wrestlers medal at State last year, the team has come out this year trying to set records.

"As a team, our goal has been to place First at Districts and qualify over half the team for State," said Patrick McKenna (12).
