"Daniel Stark is doing better. He’s keeping up with
his stuff. I am so happy, I can’t stand it. I’m just glad to have him
back," said Sylvia Heston, Special School District (SSD) teacher assistant.
Daniel, as previously reported in Pilot Issue 2, has
a type of cancer called medulloblastoma, a malignant tumor in the
central nervous system that is more common in males than females. This
type of cancer affects the cerebellum, the part of the brain
responsible for balance and other complex motor functions.
